Buny is a unique entity without a physical form. She used to roam around people's dreams at night and protect them from any unwanted living that appeared in their dreams. While she spent most of her time living in other people's dreams, she seems to be starting to lose her own memory.People first found her in Gridania, and based on her appearance and accent, it seems like she comes from Azim Steppe. When people first meet her, they often feel like they have seen her before somewhere, but when they ask Buny, she just smiles and denies it.During her journey in Eorzea, People lost track of her and couldn't find the reason. Eventually, they found her somewhere but isolating herself from others and talking to herself. She was stuck in a single dream for an extended period and she had to fight alone for a long time, and as a result, she began to lose her own identity and take on the persona of the dreamer.
Buny is worried about losing her true self and fading into nothingness, Screaming in despair and loneliness. With part of her memories and ability to tell her emotion as the price. She summons the void and released her other self that holds her memory.She called her Beth. She is ruthless and unkind to others and seems to hate anyone who tries to get close to Buny.Usually, people only see Buny, but sometimes Beth takes control of her body when she feels that someone is a threat to Buny. Beth is protective of Buny.
They are usually together, but sometimes they may transform into a Miqo'te or Viera form which they call "Dreamer".
